Configuration

To tailor the processing power available to the project requirements AURATUS offers various channel types with different controls and functions: input channels, sum, group, auxiliary and N–1 bus channels.
Furthermore, there are two monitoring channels (one stereo channel plus one channel configurable as 5.1 or stereo), a talk channel, a stereo PFL channel, and a downmix matrix.
AURATUS uses hardware and software components developed specifically by Stage Tec and is therefore independent of the continual changes in computer operating systems and hardware.
AURATUS includes four basic projects which can be selected and modified using the offline editor:
46 S (stereo project with 46 input channels):
46 input channels, 4 stereo groups, 4 stereo sums, 2 stereo auxes, 4 mono auxes, 8 mono N–1 buses, stereo monitoring for CR, stereo monitoring for PB
46 D (multichannel project with 46 input channels):
46 input channels, 4 stereo groups, 1 5.1 sum, 1 stereo sum, 2 stereo auxes, 4 mono auxes, 8 mono N–1 buses, 5.1 monitoring, stereo monitoring for PB
54 S (stereo project with 54 input channels):
54 input channels, 4 stereo sums, 2 stereo auxes, 4 mono auxes, 8 mono N–1 buses, stereo monitoring for CR, stereo monitoring for PB
54 D (multichannel project with 54 input channels):
54 input channels, 1 5.1 sum, 1 stereo sum, 2 stereo auxes, 4 mono auxes, 8 mono N–1 buses, 5.1 monitoring, stereo monitoring for PB
The AURATUS offline editor also enables some key assignments and console properties to be adapted to specific requirements.
